Maintenance After immersion in saltwater, be sure to give the Cortez a freshwater rinse to prolong the life of the foam and nylon, and to insure that all zippers operate easily. TIZIP recommends a soap and water wash to keep the WaterSeal zipper free of dirt, and an occasional application of zipper lubricant to keep the slider moving easily. The waterproof liner is heat rated down to 10 degrees F, and up to 130 degrees F. The material becomes stiff as temperature decreases, and more supple as temperature increases. Back
